STARTING SEPTEMBER 1, SPAC will be selling tickets for “The MAiZE” at beautiful VonThun Farms in Monmouth Junction. “The MAiZE” is an intricately designed corn maze, covering over 5 acres! There are 10 information stations within the maze, and the journey usually takes over an hour.” Tickets are $8 each; $4 will stay at SPAC and $4 will go toward the New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger Program. This is a great way not only to help SPAC, but to help fight hunger in our state! “The MAiZE” will be open from September 27th through Halloween, October 31st. | Who We Are... |
The Sayreville Pet Adoption Center is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter that seeks loving homes for stray or unwanted cats and dogs. More than 700 pets are adopted annually. Contact the shelter directly at (732) 727-3895. We're open 6 days a week for your convenience - see hours below.
|
| Adopting a Friend... |
We have plenty of animals who deserve loving homes. The adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccines as well as spay/neuter. Dogs are tested for heartworm and cats are tested for leukemia and feline AIDS. Please note that we require an in-person meeting and completion of an application for all adoptions. We do not adopt animals as gifts. We do not ship or deliver pets.
All potential adopters at Sayreville Pet Adoption Center must complete an application in order to adopt a pet. Applications will be reviewed and processed within 24-48 hours of their submission. Completion of an application does NOT guarantee an adoption nor does it place a pet "on hold". Applicants will be contacted with final decisions once review is completed. SAME DAY ADOPTIONS WILL NOT OCCUR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Therefore, if you plan to travel from a distance to meet one of our pets, please contact us so that your application may be completed and reviewed prior to your visit.
Adult cats - $70 |
| Volunteer... |
Volunteers are needed to help at the shelter for a few hours any day of the week. We also need people to help raise awareness of the shelter and encourage adoptions. If you want to help, contact Barbara at bjkeegan@yahoo.com.
